Sample Senior Softball League

The Sample Senior Softball League is for players aged 60 and over, whether you played every summer of your life or have not swung a bat in years. Everyone bats, everyone plays, and everyone shakes hands afterward.

There is a division for every age:

• Normanside (60+): slow pitch, 11 players.
• Bragg (70+): slow pitch, 10 players.
• Standish (80+): slow pitch, 9 players.

Games are played on Tuesday and Thursday at Riverbend Park, at 9:00 AM, 11:00 AM and 1:00 PM, from September until the leaves are gone. A season is thirteen game days, plus a makeup Saturday for rainouts. Everyone is welcome to come watch and cheer.

• Register online. Players from last season register in one click.
• The league office places every registered player on a team of about thirteen players.
• Dues are $85 a season and cover insurance, umpires, balls and the upkeep of the fields.
